2021-22:

Savanah played in 27 games and started all of them. She averaged 9.9 points, 44.5 percent from the field, 69.5 percent from the free throw line, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 2.0 assists for the Dragons.

2020-21:

Richards was named Second Team All-Conference for her performance this year. She averaged 13.7 points (16th in the conference), shooting 41.5 percent from the field, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. She matched her career-high against Cedarville with a 30-point performance, shooting 11-for-14, with four rebounds, three assists, and one steal on 2/6.

2019-20:

Richards had a great freshman campaign, playing in all 29 games with 16 starts. She averaged 9.2 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, 1.8 assists per game, and 1.0 steals per game. Richards hit her stride down the stretch, hitting double-digits in scoring in each of Tiffin's last nine games, including a 30-point outburst at Findlay on Feb. 15. In that contest against the Oilers, she tied the TU record with seven made threes and her 30 point output is tied for third in program history. In conference play, Richards averaged 11.4 points per game, leading all GMAC freshmen.

Personal:

Savanah is from Findlay and is the daughter of Greg and Jodi Richards. She has three siblings and is majoring in Business Management. Her father, Greg, holds the distinction of one of Tiffin University football's greats as the former offensive lineman was inducted into the TU Hall of Fame in 2010.

High School:

At Liberty-Benton High School, Richards earned numerous awards, including two-time First Team All-Ohio, two-time Conference Player of the Year, District 8 Player of the Year, Coaches Award, and team MVP. She was also a member of the 1,000-point club with 1,549 in her career, and set the school record for assists in a season. Academically, Richards was a member of the National Honor Society and was named Academic All-Ohio and Academic All-Conference. She also earned the distinction of Valedictorian of the 2019 class at Liberty-Benton with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
