Tiffin University's men's wrestling team jumped 12 spots in the latest NWCA Division II poll, settling in at 7th in the first poll of 2020.

The Dragons rose from 19th to 7th off a strong showing in December, where they won the Ohio Northern Invitational and finished 3rd at the prestigious Midwest Classic.

Taking the top spot in the poll was St. Cloud St. with 111 points, while Pitt-Johnstown was next with 70 and Notre Dame was third with 67. Tiffin had 45 points and was the sole GMAC team in the Top 25. Alderson-Broaddus and Findlay received votes.

Individually four Dragons were ranked. Trey Grine (157) was the highest with a 2nd place ranking, while Chris Donathan (149) and Nick Mason (197) were ranked 5th. Hayden Bronne (174) was ranked 6th overall. Mason so far has a 19-6 record with a team best 14 pins, while Donathan is 17-3. Bronne sports a 10-2 mark with 8 falls, while Grine has seen limited action and is 6-0.
