Dragon Details:

Tiffin was able to mount a pair of late-game, double-digit comebacks against Hillsdale and Findlay last weekend in the Gillmor Center, but could not pull off victories in either game as the Dragons fell to the Chargers by three and the Oilers by just one point.

TU continues to excel defending the ball, ranking third in the conference with an opposing field goal percentage of 40.3% and second with an opposing three-point percentage of 28.0%. The Dragons are also leading the GMAC with 42.7 total rebounds per game and are second with 12.8 offensive boards per contest.

Aarion Nichols' fine season has been as strong as ever as of late, with the sophomore recording double-doubles in three-straight games entering the weekend. Nichols is currently 13th in the GMAC with 14.5 points per game and tied for fourth with 7.8 rebounds per game from the guard position. Jasmine Watts has the next highest scoring average of 8.4 points per game, followed by Brooke Wesner at 7.9 points per game. Jada Tate averages 7.2 points per game and is second on the team with 6.1 rebounds per contest.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets:

Cedarville started the season winning eight of their first nine games, but have dropped three of their last four including a pair last weekend at Findlay and Walsh by a combined five points. The Yellow Jackets take great care of the ball, ranking third in the GMAC in both turnover margin (+4.00) and assist-turnover ratio (1.26).

Abby Wolford leads the Yellow Jackets in scoring with 14.8 points per game while shooting 36.5% from deep. Ashlyn Huffman is next at 11.9 points per game and is also leading the GMAC with 5.9 assists per game.

The last time Cedarville and Tiffin met was at Cedarville a season ago on Feb. 16, when the Yellow Jackets turned in a 90-50 victory. Wolford tallied 14 points and six rebounds in the game for Cedarville, while Watts led the Dragons with 10 points off the bench.

Scouting the Storm:

Lake Erie started the season by dropping seven-straight games, but have really turned things around with a 7-3 record since, including a 23-point win over Ursuline last weekend.

Josie Chaddock powers the Storm, ranking second in the GMAC with 18.5 points per game, fifth with 3.7 assists per game, and leads the conference with 35.9 minutes per game. Breanna Bauer has also been a force to contend with, ranking sixth in the conference with 15.9 points per game, third with a 54.5% field goal rate, and 14th with 5.9 rebounds per game.

The Storm and the Dragons last played on Feb. 23 of last season, with Tiffin riding a big halftime lead to a 71-65 victory at home. Watts led TU with 15 points and 11 rebounds in the win, while Lake Erie's Farrah Benner led all scorers with 19.
