Series History:

Tiffin and Alderson Broaddus have met just twice since the Dragons joined Division II and TU has taken both meetings, including the most recent matchup on Jan. 18, which Tiffin won 84-72. Sarah Cummings led the Dragons with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Jensen Hiegel had 10 points and eight boards. Jeana Witherspoon led the Battlers with 14 points.

Tiffin and Davis & Elkins have also faced off twice in the Division II ranks, but the series is split at one apiece. TU won the matchup earlier this season on Jan. 17 in an exciting 64-62 thriller. In the final minute, Ali Schirmer converted a tough runner in the lane and Aarion Nichols swatted away a potential game-tying shot to seal the win for the Dragons. Mary Redmond led Tiffin with a career-high 14 points on 4 of 7 shooting from deep, while Jasmine Watts recorded her first career double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Dragon Details:

Tiffin enters the final weekend on a two-game winning streak after ending the postseason hopes of both Ursuline and Lake Erie last week. With a win in at least one of their final two games, the Dragons will register their most conference wins in a season since they went 8-14 during the 2012-13 season.

Scouting the Battlers:

Alderson Broaddus comes into Thursday's game second-to-last in the conference at 4-16, and have lost 14 of their last 14 contests. The Battlers play very aggressive defense, leading the GMAC with 10.57 steals per game and ranking fifth with a 1.13 turnover margin. Jeana Weatherspoon leads the team with 9.3 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game, while Ta'Sharra Jeffries is sixth in the conference with 1.9 steals per game.

Scouting the Senators:

Davis & Elkins is currently just in front of Tiffin in the conference standings at 7-13, but have played well as of late by going 5-4 in their last nine games, including a narrow four-point loss to GMAC-leader Kentucky Wesleyan last Thursday. The Senators love to slow the game down and keep the score low, ranking fifth in the conference with 63.5 points allowed per game while scoring 60.4 per contest. Jamiyah Johnson is third in the GMAC with 7.7 rebounds per game, while Colleena Burdock is sixth with 3.3 assists per game and third with 2.2 steals per game. Kali Wilburn leads the team with 12.2 points per outing.

Record Watch:

After becoming just the ninth player in Tiffin women's basketball history to reach the 1,000-point scoring mark in the Dragons' win over Carlow on Dec. 29, senior Ali Schirmer needs 12 made three-pointers to become the school's all-time leader with twp games remaining. She is also just two assists away from reaching seventh-place in the Dragon record books for career assists. Allie Miller broke into the TU career made three-pointers top-10 list in the Ohio Dominican game a few weeks ago, now sitting in 7th with 129. Freshman Jasmine Watts has been a force on defense down low, and has entered the single-season blocks top-10 at Tiffin after reaching 36 in the win over Lake Erie.
