Series History:

Tiffin and Cedarville have played 44 times in progam histories since the 1984-85 season, with the Yellow Jackets holding a 28-17 advantage in the all-time series. The Dragons hung with Cedarville earlier this season on Dec. 13, keeping it a one-point game until late in the third quarter, but the Yellow Jackets were able to pull away for a 79-67 win. Allie Miller led all scorers with 22 points and four threes, while Jensen Hiegel recorded her first career double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Ashlyn Huffman led Cedarville with 19 points and six rebounds.

Dragon Details:

Tiffin will look to get revenge and play spoiler this week as Cedarville vies for positioning near the top of the conference.

Last weekend, the Dragons suffered a pair of defeats to Trevecca Nazarene and Kentucky Wesleyan, and will be glad to return to Ohio this week after a tough road trip. Sarah Cummings has really been coming on strong as of late, leading the team in both games with 14 points and six rebounds in each.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets:

Cedarville enters the week tied for second in the GMAC at 13-4 in conference. However, after starting GMAC play 12-1, Cedarville has lost three of their last four conference matchups. The Yellow Jackets shoot well and take care of the ball well, as they rank third in the conference in scoring offense, second in field goal percentage, first in both three-point and free throw percentage, and first in assist/turnover ratio. Ashlyn Huffman is fourth in the conference with 3.8 assists per game and third at 84.9% from the line, while sharpshooter Baylee Bennett leads the GMAC with 2.8 triples made per game and a percentage of 46.1% (fourth in the nation).

Record Watch:

After becoming just the ninth player in Tiffin women's basketball history to reach the 1,000-point scoring mark in the Dragons' win over Carlow on Dec. 29, senior Ali Schirmer needs just 14 made three-pointers to become the school's all-time leader. She is also three assists away from reaching eighth-place in the Dragon record books for career assists. Allie Miller broke into the TU career made three-pointers top-10 list in the Ohio Dominican game a few weeks ago, now sitting in seventh with 122. Freshman Jasmine Watts has been a force on defense down low, and is just six blocks away from entering the single-season blocks top-10 at Tiffin.
