Tom Miller (1964-68) was one of the backbones of Tiffin University's powerhouse Men's Basketball teams during the 1960s. Miller, an Attica native, totaled 1132 points during his career in the post. Miller was a strong rebounder who established the single game record of 26 rebounds. He was one of the leaders of the 1965-66 team that finished 20-1 and led the nation in scoring. After graduating in 1968 with a degree in Business Management, Miller served as Assistant Coach for the Dragons under Head Coach George Janson. Miller died in an automobile accident in 1973. In honor of his outstanding work ethic, an award is given each season to a deserving member of the Men's Basketball program.
