Gale Cunningham (1988-91), a Clyde, Ohio native, is one of the top defensive linemen in Tiffin University's Football history. Cunningham was named NAIA All-American in 1991, capping a sterling career during which he earned three All-District 22 citations. Cunningham was exceptional at penetrating the offensive line, leading him to impressive statistics in sacks and tackles for loss. He currently stands second in career sacks and tackles for loss. Gale earned his degree in Business Management. Cunningham is presently employed at S.A. Comunale as a pipe fitter. He and his family reside in Sandusky, Ohio.
