Julia played in 11 games and started 4 of them for the Dragons.

Effinger appeared in ten games and started in seven for the Dragons. 

2019:

Effinger had a solid freshman campaign, playing in all 17 games while starting 16. She tied for fourth on the team with four points after recording one goal and two assists. Her goal came against Trevecca Nazarene on 10/3 and both assists came in the 5-0 win over Alderson Broaddus on 10/17.

Personal:

Julia hails from Akron, Ohio and is the daughter of Pete and Kristin Effinger. She has two siblings, James and Charlie, and intends to major in Forensic Psychology.

High School:

While at Revere High School, Julia was named First Team All-Suburban League (16, 17, 18), First Team All-District (17, 18), Second Team All-State (17), First Team All-State (18), First Team All-Region (18), and Akron Beacon Journal All-Star Preps Team. Academically, she graduated Cum Laude and with honors.
