Dragons, LaVearn, Mason all ranked in NWCA poll

Tiffin University is ranked 24th in the NWCA Preseason poll, tying with King University.

TU joins three other GMAC schools in the rankings, as Ashland came in 7th, Findlay 11th, and Lake Erie 14th to give the conference four schools in the Top 25.

Reigning NCAA Division II National Champion St. Cloud State tops the team poll with 81 points, with last year's national runners-up, Nebraska-Kearney, hot on the Huskies' heels with 80 points. Lindenwood takes the third place spot with 78 points, while Central Oklahoma (74 points) and West Liberty (69 points) round out the top five.  

Two Dragons' grapplers landed in the individual rankings, with Nick Mason ranked 7th at 197 pounds while Bryan LaVearn was tagged 8th at 165. 

Mason is a three-time Region Champion and 2019 NCAA National Champion at 197 pounds, while LaVearn has also made three trips to the NCAA National Championships.
