2021-22:

Bryan went 17-11 with 4 falls, 18 takedowns and 123 points...named Third Team All GMAC, his third all-conference honor...also named GMAC Elite 25 recipient for highest GPA in conference...earned special distinction by garnering his fifth NWCA Scholar All American honor. Just eight of the wrestlers honored had the unique distinction of being named Scholar All-American for a fifth time, due to the extra year awarded by COVID-19...ranks 5th in career wins at TU with 100, one of only five wrestlers with 100 or more victories...also ranks 4th in career pins. 

2020-21:

LaVearn earned another NCAA National Qualifying appearance, placing 2nd at the regional meet. He also was a First Team All GMAC pick after winning the 165 pound title. He went 8-4 with 13 takedowns, 13 escapes, and 5 pins while finishing second on the team in points with 134.5. He also earned his fourth NWCA Academic All American honor. 

2019-20:

LaVearn earned NWCA All American honors. He is a three-time Regional qualifier and a First Team All GMAC pick. He led the team with a 34-12 record and 547 points. He finished second at Regionals. He also had 57 takedowns, 41 escapes, and 10 pins.

2018-19:

LaVearn went 11-9 with 15 takedowns and 40 escapes.

2017-18:

LaVearn went 16-13 on the year, recording 30 takedowns, a team-leading 44 escapes, and six pins. He was one of three Tiffin wrestlers to qualify for Nationals, finishing fourth at the Midwest Regional. He was also named to the NWCA All-Academic squad.

2016-17:

Bryan posted a solid 14-8 record with four pins. He finished with 30 takedowns, 26 escapes, and three reversals. 

Personal:

Bryan is a native of Ortonville, Michigan and is majoring in Homeland Security. He is the son of David and Karen LaVearn and has two siblings.

High School:

Bryan graduated from Ortonville Brandon High School. While attending, he was a 4-time state qualifier, 2-time state runner-up, 4-time league champion, 3-time team captain, and recorded 200 plus career victories.
