Dragons hold steady in 3rd place at East Regional

Tiffin University improved by a stroke on day two of the NCAA East Regional at Kansas, Missouri, holding on to third place with one round to go.

Findlay continues to lead the regional with a low of 582, while Indianapolis was next with 602. The Dragons improved from 307 to 306 in round two to post a 613 score. Grand Valley State was right behind the Dragons with 615 while Lindenwood was fifth with 618. The top five teams advance to the NCAA National Championships.

Lisa Marie Schumacher was in sixth place overall, improving from 74 to 73 for 147 overall. Michaela Lindahl was also Top 15 with the single best improvement between rounds, going from 78 to 74 for 152 (14th).

Alexis Savage posted another round of 79 for 158 overall, while Amanda Johansson stayed steady with 80 after her 79 first-round score for 159. Jordan Van Meter shot 85 after opening with 76 (161).
