Tiffin University had a strong showing on the first day of the NC4K College Classic at Blacklick, Ohio, tying for second overall.

Findlay led the field with 301, while the Dragons and Indianapolis tied with 313. Northwood was fourth with 318.

Lisa Marie Schumacher equaled her career-low with a round of 71 to finish the day first of 100 golfers.

Michaela Lindahl tied for 12th overall, shooting 78. Amanda Johansson and Jordan Van Meter both tied with 82, while Alexis Savage was next with 83.
