Dragons finish runner-up at Saddlebrook Invitational

Tiffin University had a rough third round, falling off their opening two rounds and finishing second overall at the Saddlebrook Spring Invitational.

After rounds of 305 and 301, the Dragons shot 325 in round three, allowing Keiser University to win with a strong 301 third-round score. Overall Keiser outpaced TU 906-931, with Northwood taking third with 950 and Walsh in fourth with 956.

Lisa Marie Schumacher was the only TU player under 80 on the day, shooting 78 to finish second overall with 224. She missed medalist honors by a single stroke.

Alexis Savage was tied for sixth overall, shooting 82 to finish with 231. Amanda Johansson also cracked the Top 10, finishing 10th with 80 on the day (235 total). Michaela Lindahl finished with 241 while Jordan Van Meter ended up with 262.

Tiffin's B squad finished 14th with Sophia Compton posting a 278 total. Allyson Rosen finished with 313, Natalie Myers shot 336, and Zoe Wiley had 347. 

Alexis Zimmer also shot 313 overall for the Dragons.
