KeShyra McCarver

KeShyra McCarver joined the women's basketball staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2020-21 season.

McCarver comes to Tiffin from Wheeling University, where she spent two seasons as a graduate assistant and full-time assistant. While there, her focus was on defense, strength and conditioning, and post player development. During the 2019-20 season, she coached D2CCA Second Team All-American and the nation's leading rebounder (16.0 per game) in Lilly Ritz. 

Prior to Wheeling, McCarver played at Division I member Purdue-Fort Wayne (PFW), totaling 568 points, 337 rebounds, 91 assists, and 64 steals over the course of 111 games during her career. She was a Team Captain during her senior season in 2018 and was recognized on the Summit League Academic Honor Roll.

McCarver holds a Masters of Business Administration from Wheeling and a Bachelor of General Studies with Business and Communications minors from PFW.

McCarver also has local ties, starring at Whitmer High School in Toledo. She was a 1,000-point scorer and earned multiple honors while at Whitmer, including TRAC Player of the Year, District 7 Player of the Year, and All-Ohio First Team.
