Calling All Dragon Women’s Basketball Alumnae!
First, I would like to thank you all for stopping by the office, the letters, phone calls, and text messages welcoming my family and I to Tiffin University. The amount of support has been remarkable and we are grateful for the time that each of you took to make us feel at home. What a great time to join the Dragon Family! I knew Tiffin was a special place throughout the interview process when I met President Schumacher, Athletic Director Lonny Allen, and Senior Women’s Administrator Kelly Daniel. I have quickly learned that every day is "A great day to be a Dragon"!
Our staff has been putting in long hours working to ensure that we continue to build upon the success that you started here. In order to get OUR program to an elite level, it will take a tremendous effort from everyone in the Tiffin FAMILY! That means players, coaches, staff, administration, fans and, most importantly, the alumnae. We need each and every one of you to be a part of our TEAM in order for us to reach our ultimate goal of winning CHAMPIONSHIPS. This brings me to the purpose for this letter.
This letter is intended to serve as an open letter to ALL Dragon women’s basketball alumnae. In an effort to reach as many former players, coaches, trainers, and managers as possible, I wanted to send out an open invitation to you and your FAMILY to attend our Alumni Weekend on October 5-6. Festivities will include an Alumnae vs. Alumnae game, happy hour at your favorite local establishment, and cheering on Tiffin football vs. Malone. For additional information on the weekend’s events, as well as details on how to RSVP, please contact me directly at the office at (419) 448-3260 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org . You can register for the weekend here: WBB Alumnae Weekend Registration .
In an effort to communicate effectively with all of our women’s basketball alumnae, it is important that we have your most up-to-date information. We have created a form specifically for communication with each of you. Whether you are able to attend the Alumni Weekend or not, we would appreciate you taking the time to fill this out.
I hope many of you will be able to attend the Alumnae events we have set up for you during Homecoming Weekend, October 5-6. I would love the opportunity to meet each of you and hear stories about your time here at Tiffin. We are excited about what lies ahead for the future of the program, but we are equally excited to honor the past. We hope to see all of you in Tiffin in October, but for those who are unable to make it we look forward to reconnecting with you soon! Your support is crucial to the success of our program and it is greatly appreciated! Go Dragons!
