The Tiffin University women's basketball team prepares for two conference matchups this week against Ursuline on Wednesday, January 26 with a 5:30 p.m. start time, and Lake Erie on Saturday, January 29 with a 1:00 p.m. tip-off.

Dragon Details:

The Dragons went 2-1 last week with wins over Findlay and Ohio Dominican.  

Tiffin's offense is led by Aarion Nichols who is averaging 15.9 points shooting 40.7 percent from the field, 9.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 steals, Jada Tate is scoring 10.6 points shooting 43.4 percent from the field, 8.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.9 steals, and Savanah Richards registers 9.1 points shooting 40.8 percent from the field, 3.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.

The Dragons are fourth in the conference in total defense, holding opponents to 61.9 points per game, with Aarion Nichols seventh in the conference in scoring, and as a team Tiffin outrebounds opponents by a plus 3 margin. 

 

Scouting the Arrows:

The Arrows went 0-2 last week in conference play.  

Ursuline's offense is led by Michaela Cloonan who averages 18.0 points shooting 52.9 percent from the field, and 36.1 percent from three-point territory, 6.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.6 steals, Bekah Green scores 16.3 points shooting 45.9 percent from the field, and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc, 2.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.4 steals, and Madison Cloonan registers 12.6 points shooting 45.6 percent from the field, 10.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.  

The Dragons lead the all-time series against the Arrows 5-2, with their last meeting coming on January 27, when the Dragons won 77-59.

Lake Erie's offense is led by Breanna Bauer who averages 12.2 points shooting 56.0 percent from the field, 5.6 rebounds, and 0.7 assists, Lauren Flannery registers 9.6 points shooting 36.9 percent from the field, 3.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals, and Lainey Billing scores 8.8 points shooting 33.5 percent from the field, 4.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 0.75 steals per game.  

The Dragons lead the all-time series against the Storm 13-9, with their last meeting coming on January 21, when the Dragons won 53-42.
