The Tiffin University women's basketball team won convincingly against Ohio Valley 73-53.

The Dragons shot 43.3 percent from the field compared to the Scots 32.8 percent. 

Tiffin improves to 12-8 overall and 12-8 in the conference, while the Fighting Scots fall to 0-17 overall and 0-17 in the conference. 

The Dragons never trailed in the game, scoring the first bucket at 1:41 in the first quarter. The Dragons ended the first quarter on a 12-2 run to lead 20-9. After trading buckets to start the second quarter Tiffin outscored the Scot 14-3 in the last five minutes before the half to lead 41-19.

Tiffin started the third quarter strong, going on a 7-0 run to lead 48-19. The Scots chipped at the Dragons' lead to cut the lead to 57-37 by the end of the third quarter. 

The Dragons went on a 12-0 run in the fourth quarter to lead 71-41, but the Scots countered with an 8-0 run to cut into the Dragons' lead. Tiffin cruised to victory winning 73-53.  

Aarion Nichols registered her fourth double-double of the season scoring 17 points and shooting 8-for-12 from the field, grabbing 12 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Jada Tate hit double figures scoring 11 points and shooting 5-for-7 from the field with seven rebounds. Kirsten Williams had eight points, eight rebounds, one assist, and one steal and teammate Tori Kopp scored a career-high eight points, three rebounds, and two assists.
