Savanah Richards was named GMAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Richards has been a key part of the Dragons' success as they have won seven of their last eight games.
In a 2-0 week for the Dragons, she averaged 22 points shooting 17-for-24 from the field, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.
Richards erupted against No. 9 ranked Cedarville to snap their 15-game winning streak. She scored 30 points in 40 minutes, shooting 11-for-14 from the field, 2-for-2 from beyond the arc, and 6-for-8 from the free-throw line.
She leads Tiffin on offense averaging 15.5 points on the year, ranking eighth in the conference in scoring. She is currently 11thin field goal percentage and 12thin free throw percentage.
This marks the first time Richards has been named Player of the Week.
