Shooting woes in the second and third quarters cost the Dragons on the road at Ohio Dominican, as they fell 83-68.

Tiffin (7-5, 7-5 GMAC) shot just 34 percent in the game while the Panthers hit at a 54 percent clip. The difference cost them the most in the middle two quarters, when the Dragons were outscored 49-28.

After a close first quarter that ended with TU down 16-15, the Panthers erupted on a 22-13 run that pushed their lead to 10 points. They continued to hold TU off the board and finished the half on a 5-0 run over the final minute that pushed their halftime lead to 43-32.

The Dragons tried to chip away at the lead, cutting the deficit to 8 points with 6:19 to play. ODU responded with a backbreaking 17-3 run to expand their lead to 22 points heading to the fourth quarter and effectively end the game.

Savanah Richards led the Dragons with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Jensen Hiegel finished with 13 points. Three other Dragons reached double figures, with Jada Tate garnering 12 points and 10 rebounds, Aarion Nichols getting 11 points with 9 rebounds, and Kirsten Williams finishing with 11 points and 5 rebounds. The Dragons' five starters scored all but five points in the game.
