The Tiffin Women's Basketball team fell to Cedarville last week. This week the Dragons will continue their road trip heading to Ky. Wesleyan and finishing with Trevecca Nazarene.

Dragon Details:

The Lady Dragons are 2-2 over their last four games, with four wins total this season and rank second in the conference on defense. 

Tiffin fell to Cedarville 79-65 last time out for their third loss, with wins over Ohio Dominican, Malone and Ursuline. The Dragons are holding their opponents to 70.1 points per game and 41.8% from the field. Tiffin's rebounding stays strong, grabbing 6.0 more per contest than their opponents. 

Aarion Nichols has been doing it all for Tiffin so far, ranking amongst the national leaders in per game averages in points, rebounds, assists and steals. She averages 17.1 ppg, 9.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.3 steals.

Savanah Richards is second on the team in points averaging 14.6. Jensen Hiegel (8.3 ppg, 4.1 rpg), Jada Tate (8.1 ppg, 7.3 rpg) and Kirsten Williams (6.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 1.9 spg) also contribute significantly for the Dragons.

Scouting the Panthers

Kentucky Wesleyan sits third in the standings with a win in their last two games against Walsh (75-65) and Malone (75-74).

The Panthers' offense sits fifth in the conference, scoring 76.8 points per game and ranking fourth on defense, holding their opponents to 74.0 points, giving them a 2.8 margin overall that ranks fourth in the GMAC.

The Panthers are led by Kaylee Clifford who sits top ten in the conference in points, rebounds, blocks and steals per game (14.8 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 1.6 bpg and 1.6 spg), along with Tahlie Walton (14.6 ppg, 5.2 rpg) and Lily Grimes-Miller (4.6 apg). 

Last time these teams met Ky. Wesleyan pulled away with an 87-62 win on Feb. 9. The Panthers lead the series 4-1 all-time. 

Scouting the Trojans

Trevecca leads the series 1-2, Tiffin edged the Trojans last season with a 84-77 overtime win on Dec. 5 where Brooke Wesner tallied a career-best 29 points. 

In the Trojans exhibition game with Austin Peay four players reached double figures led by Keeley Carter (20), Samantha Whiteman (12), Haley Vesey (11) and Alex McFarlin (10). Magdalena Dunai led the team in rebounds with eight while Vesey grabbed seven.

The Trojans were selected tenth in the conference preseason poll and have yet to play a game this season.
