Hale Signs With Women's Basketball

Sha'Dai Hale has announced her intention to continue her athletic and academic careers at Tiffin University.

Hale is a 6'0" forward out of Purcell Marian High School and is from Cincinnati, Ohio.

"In just two seasons with Sha'Dai she put together a very distinguished prep career," said Hale's high school coach, Jamar Mosley. "She proved she knows what it takes to win both on and off the court. She will be an outstanding addition to TU. I'm excited to watch her in green and gold over the next four years."

During the course of her high school career, Hale was First Team All-GCL and District 16 during her junior and senior seasons, and Second Team All-Ohio. She holds the school record for most points scored in a single season (394 during her junior year) and is the all-time leading rebounder at Purcell Marian with 492. She is also fourth in school history in career points (764), fourth in blocks (55), and sixth in steals (156).

On why she chose to become a Dragon, Hale said, "I chose Tiffin because out of all the schools I visited, I felt welcomed as more than just an athlete but also as a student. I was able to connect with the players and the coaches and it was a place I could see myself at for the next 4 years."

Academically, Hale carries a 4.4 GPA in high school and is a member of the National Honor Society, as well as being named to the Dean's List and Honor Roll all four years. She intends to major in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice at Tiffin.
