Miller Awarded G-MAC Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS - After leading Tiffin women's basketball to their second-consecutive 2-0 week in conference play, senior Allie Miller has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

In the pair of victories, Miller averaged 21.5 points per game, four rebounds per game, three steals per game, 2.5 assists per game, and shot 58.3% from the field and 54.5% from the three-point line.

Against Ohio Valley on Thursday, she tallied a career-high 25 points on 7-13 shooting (4-7 from deep) while registering five steals and four assists in, incredibly, just ten minutes on the court. Her outstanding effort helped the Dragons eclipse the program record for points in a single contest with 108, overcoming the previous mark of 100 that had been reached three times.

Miller added to her great week with 18 points on 7-11 shooting on Saturday as Tiffin upset Ohio Dominican with ease, winning by 14 points. With her second triple of the contest, the senior also entered the TU record books by breaking into the top-10 in career made three-pointers, and now sits in eighth with 117 during her time in a Dragon uniform.

With their current four-game win streak being the longest for the program since a six-game stretch in February of 2012, Tiffin has been playing very well as of late and will look to ride that momentum into a couple of tough road contests against Hillsdale and Findlay later this week.
