Dragons Unable To Keep Pace With #1 Ashland

The Tiffin University women's basketball team ran into a buzz saw on Saturday afternoon, falling 121-56 to the #1 Ashland University Eagles. The win was the 48th straight for Ashland.

The Eagles put the game out of reach early, scoring 39 1st quarter points while holding Tiffin to 12 points. Tiffin's offense had much more success in the 2nd quarter, scoring 21 points and hitting 8 of 12 field goal attempts. 

The 2nd half was all Eagles as Ashland really poured it on late, continuing their full court press throughout the game, and still chucking triples with a 50 point lead. Turnovers really hurt Tiffin as the Eagles scored 56 points off Tiffin's 35 miscues.
