Tiffin University (4-9) dropped a pair of close games to Saint Leo, falling 3-1 and 5-2.

In the opener, Claire Feldkamp took a tough loss after allowing just 2 earned runs over her 6 innings. She allowed single runs in the third, fourth, and fifth innings after the Dragons had jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the third inning.

In the third, Taylor Whalen singled and stole second. Tara Gall drove her home with another single for TU's lone run of the game.

Overall TU managed six singles in the game. They had runners in scoring position in the fifth and sixth innings but could not bring them home.

In the second game, Isabella St. Peter also gave up just two earned runs over 6 innings in taking the loss.

TU had five hits including doubles by Caitlin Wilson and Aubrie Harper.

Down 2-0 in the fourth inning, TU scored twice. Wilson doubled and Maci Head singled. Harper then followed with a double that drove in both runs.

Saint Leo bounced back immediately with three runs in the bottom of the fourth. The Dragons put three runners in scoring position over the remainder of the game but could not bring them home.
