Tiffin University (19-23, 8-8 GMAC) got strong pitching and hitting in sweeping Malone 10-2 and 4-0.

Claire Feldkamp got the win in game one in six innings. She allowed just 5 hits and 2 earned runs with 7 strikeouts. She also benefited from 14 TU hits.

TU got on the board in the first inning when Taylor Whalen singled and moved up on a passed ball. She came home on Katie Deardorff's double to make  it 1-0.

TU got more runs in the third inning. Tied 1-1, Bailey Hamilton singled and came home on Deardorff's double. Kaylee Savage then drove her home with a single.

TU blew the game open in the fifth. Whalen singled and moved up on a wild pitch. Deardorff got another RBI with a single. An error at first base put runners at the corners, and Maci Head drove one home with a single. Kennedy Rorar then doubled home two runs. Aubrie Harper singled, and Rorar came home afterwards on a passed ball.

Up 8-2 in the sixth inning, TU put the game away with two runs. Maddie Woods singled and Savage walked. Head then doubled to drive home the first run, and Rorar ended the game with a sacrifice fly.

Overall Deardorff had 3 hits and 3 RBI with two doubles, while Head also had 3 hits for 2 RBI with a double. Whalen had 2 hits, while Rorar had 2 hits with a double and 3 RBI.

In game two, Sarah Klein went 7 innings and allowed only 4 hits with 9 strikeouts for the win.

TU made the most of its six hits, getting on the board again in the first inning. Deardorff doubled and came home on Savage's single with two outs.

In the fifth, Kirsten Georges singled and came home on Harper's double. Whalen then singled, and Harper came home on Woods's sac fly. Whalen then scored on an error at second base.

Savage had 2 RBI in the game, while Deardorff and Harper had doubles.
