Tiffin University (16-22, 5-7 GMAC) got a narrow 1-0 win in game one but fell in the nightcap 9-6 on the road at Ursuline.

Claire Feldkamp got the impressive win in the opener, tossing a complete-game two-hitter with 5 strikeouts.

TU got the only run it would need in the fifth inning, as Kennedy Rorar singled. Caitlin Wilson pinch ran and promptly stole second base. Taylor Whalen then singled, and, with two outs, Maddie Woods singled home the game-winning run.

Overall Whalen had two hits, as did Rorar.

In game two, Sarah Klein took the loss, going 4.1 innings and allowing 7 earned runs with 6 strikeouts, as the two teams combined for 25 hits.

TU opened with three runs in the first inning. Whalen bunt singled followed by a Woods walk. Kaylee Savage then drilled a three-run bomb to give TU the early lead.

The Dragons allowed four runs in the bottom of the first, however. Trailing 4-3 in the fourth inning, Rorar, Katie Deardorff, and Bailey Hamilton all singled, with Aubrie Harper adding another single to tie the score at 4-4.

In the fifth, TU took the lead. Savage walked and reached third on Maci Head's double. Deardorff then doubled to drive Savage home, while Hamilton followed with a single to give TU a 6-4 lead.

Things fell apart in the bottom of the fifth inning, when Ursuline responded with four runs to retake the lead.

In the seventh inning, TU got the tying run to the plate with two outs trailing 9-6 but a pop up to third base ended the game.

Deardorff and Hamilton had three hits each while Whalen added two more hits. Savage had a three-run home run, as Head and Deardorff had doubles.
