Tiffin University (6-7) bounced back with two wins on the spring trip, beating Georgian Court 6-3 and Fairmont State 7-5.

Claire Feldkamp got the win in both games, starting one and finishing the other. Against Georgian Court, she went 7 innings and allowed 6 hits and 3 earned runs while fanning 12 with 5 walks.

TU gave her a nice cushion to start with as it tallied five runs in the first inning. Taylor Whalen walked and on Maddie Woods's bunt single, a throwing error by the pitcher allowed Whalen to score. Kaylee Savage followed with an RBI single, which Maci Head then followed with an RBI double. After Aubrie Harper reached on an error at third, Maddie Legg and Alyssa Gettys both walked. Whalen then came up again and stroked an RBI single.

The game remained 5-0 until the 7th inning when TU added another run. Whalen singled and moved to third on an error at shortstop on a ball hit by Savage. Head then brought her home on a sacrifice fly.

In the bottom of the inning, Georgian Court finally broke through with a two-run home run and managed to get the tying run to the plate with two outs but a lineout to first base ended the game.

Whalen and Savage had two hits each, while Head had a double for 2 RBI.

In the nightcap, Sarah Klein started and went 4 innings, fanning 5 and allowing 1 earned run.

TU opened with a 2-0 lead. In the second, Legg doubled and came home on Faith Renwick's single. In the third, Kirsten Georges doubled and came home on Woods's double.

In the fifth with the score tied 2-2, Georges singled and moved to second on a ground out to third. Woods then singled her home, and came home herself on Savage's double as TU took a 4-2 lead.

FSU answered in the sixth inning with three runs to take a 5-4 lead. After Shelbey Spurlock relieved Klein with 1.1 innings of work, Feldkamp returned to the game to pitch the final 1.2 innings.

In TU's portion of the sixth, Harper singled and Legg reached on an error by the pitcher. Renwick then singled to tie the game, and Georges singled to drive in two more runs and give TU the lead.

Feldkamp finished off the game, allowing no hits over her outing and fanning one for the win.
