Tiffin University (1-4) managed just three hits and could not hold an early lead, falling to Missouri S&T 5-2 in their Tennessee finale.

Trailing 1-0, the Dragons scraped together two runs in the second inning to take a 2-1 lead. Kaylee Savage walked and moved to second on a passed ball. After Bria Dailey entered as a pinch runner, she then scored the Dragons' first run on a wild pitch. Kirsten Georges, Caitlin Wilson, Maci Head, and Taylor Whalen all then followed with walks to put TU ahead 2-1.

Starter Claire Feldkamp tossed 4 innings and allowed 5 hits and 3 earned runs but got into trouble by allowing two batters on in the fifth inning. Libby Schaadt then came in to relieve and allowed two walks and another earned run over 0.1 innings to take the loss. Sarah Klein finished up, throwing 2.2 innings of 4-hit ball and allowing one earned run.

TU managed just two runners in scoring position over the final five innings.

Among TU's three hits was a triple by Georges.
