Strong pitching was the name of the game for Tiffin University (21-15), as the Dragons allowed just 5 hits over two games in splitting with Gannon on the road.

TU tossed a one-hitter in a 3-0 victory in the nightcap after falling 2-1 in the opener. Claire Feldkamp got the win in the victory, tossing 4 innings and fanning 4 while allowing no hits. After Shelbey Spurlock got in some trouble in relief in the fifth inning, loading the bases with one out, Isabella St. Peter came in and pitched out of the jam. She then finished the game with 2.2 innings of work, allowing just one hit for the save.

Tiffin, meanwhile, had 9 hits, with Taylor Whalen getting 3 hits with a double and Laura Teunion-Smith driving in 2 runs with 3 hits and a double. Faith Renwick also swung a big stick, getting a double and home run.

TU got on the board in the third inning. With two outs, Whalen doubled and came home on Teunion-Smith's double.

In the fourth, Renwick had a solo blast, and TU made it 3-0 in the fifth when Whalen singled, stole second, and came home on Teunion-Smith's single.

In the opener, Victoria Edwards was strong, tossing 4 innings of 2 hit ball, allowing one earned run. Sarah Klein threw 2 innings of relief, taking the loss while allowing just 2 hits and another earned run.

Gannon managed just 4 hits in the game but Tiffin only collected 3 hits, including Kirsten Georges's double.

TU got its run in the second when Whalen singled, was sacrificed to second, and then came home on a throwing error by the pitcher.

TU had one big chance to take the lead in the 6th inning. Georges walked, and error at third on Teunion-Smith's fielder's choice put two runners on. Whalen then walked to load the bases with one out. But a force out at home on a fielder's choice and a pop out to right field ended TU's last threat.
