Tiffin University (18-14, 12-6 GMAC) won for the eighth time in 10 games, sweeping Walsh 12-2 and 7-1.

The Dragons finished off the Cavaliers in 6 innings in the 12-2 contest. Victoria Edwards was effective again, going 6 innings and allowing just 3 hits and one earned run while fanning 7.

The Dragons, meanwhile, banged out 12 hits and put the game away with five runs in the 6th inning. 

TU got things going in the first inning. Kirsten Georges singled, and Maddie Woods's single was followed by an error in center field that allowed Georges to score. Brooke Lambert's squeeze bunt then got another run in, and Laura Teunion-Smith followed with the first of two home run blasts to give TU a 4-0 lead.

In the third, Woods and Lambert singled, and Teunion-Smith delivered another bomb for 3 more RBIs.

In the sixth, Kaylee Savage and Bailey Hamilton both singled. Skylar Legg then walked to load the bases. With two outs, Lambert joined the home-run derby parade, blasting a grand slam for 4 RBIs. An error in right field allowed Teunion-Smith to reach second, and she came home for TU's final run on Hallie Sheehan's single.

Overall Woods had 3 hits, while Teunion-Smith had 2 home runs for 5 RBI. Lambert also had 5 RBI with 2 hits including a home run.

In game two, Claire Feldkamp was sharp, going 7 innings and allowing 5 hits and no earned runs with 6 strikeouts for the win.

Again, TU had the bats working, collecting 10 hits, while Walsh helped out with 5 errors.

TU scored in three innings. In the third, Bailey Hamilton walked and came home on Woods's triple. Lambert then drove her home with a double.

In the fourth, Heidi Marshall doubled and came home on Savage's home run to make it 4-0.

Finally in the fifth inning, Taylor Whalen singled and stole second. Marshall then singled, and an error in center field allowed Whalen to score. Savage then singled for another RBI, and Legg drove her home with a double.

Savage had 2 hits with a home run for 3 RBI, while Lambert and Marshall had two hits each with doubles. Legg also had a double, while Woods added a triple.
