Victoria Edwards tossed a three-hit gem in the nightcap with Ohio Dominican, leading to a split with the Panthers.

Tiffin (6-8, 1-1 GMAC) won game two 6-0 following a tough 4-0 9-inning defeat. Edwards went the distance, allowing no runs with 6 strikeouts along with 3 hits.

The Dragons, meanwhile, banged out 11 hits, with Kirsten Georges, Brooke Lambert, Laura Teunion-Smith, Kaylee Savage, and Hallie Sheehan all getting multiple hits. Georges had 2 hits with a double for 2 RBI, while Teunion-Smith had 2 hits with a homerun to lead the attack.

In the first inning, Maddie Woods reached on an error at second and moved to second on a sacrifice. Lambert then singled to move Woods to third. A groundout to short from Skylar Legg brought the first run across the plate.

TU plated four runs in the fourth. Teunion-Smith got TU on the board with a round-tripper. Savage and Sheehan followed with two-out singles. Woods then drove in one run with a single, and two more runs scored when Georges singled.

TU's last run came in the fifth inning. Teunion-Smith singled, stole second, and scored on Sheehan's double.

Lambert and Savage had 2 hits each, while Sheehan also had 2 hits with a double.

In the opener, Claire Feldkamp tossed 8.2 innings, fanning 9 before the Panthers finally touched her in the 9th inning for 3 earned runs.

The Dragons had chances early. In the first, Woods and Georges both singled and moved to second and third on a sacrifice with one out, but a strikeout and line out to right field ended the threat.

TU had another chance in the third. Woods doubled and was sacrificed to third with one out, but another strikeout and a groundout to the pitcher killed that chance. TU managed just two runners in scoring position the rest of the way.

Overall TU had just 5 hits, with Woods getting 2 hits with a double.
