Tiffin University (5-5) picked up two wins on its final day at Glenville State, beating GSC 3-1 before also defeating Alderson Broaddus 6-4.

TU got its win over Glenville on the back of three solid pitching efforts. Shelbey Spurlock started and went 2 innings, allowing no hits with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. Libby Schaadt came on in relief, getting the win with 4 innings of 5-hit ball, allowing just one earned run. Sarah Klein then came in in the 7th inning to pick up the save, fanning two of the three batters she faced.

Tiffin picked up two runs in the first inning. After Maddie Woods reached on a fielder's choice and Laura Teunion-Smith reached on an error at shortstop, Woods came home on a fielder's choice by Kaylee Savage. Heidi Marshall then drove her home with an RBI double.

In the third Woods tacked on a leadoff home run to give TU its third run.

Over the final three innings, only two GSC runners reached scoring position.
