The Tiffin University softball program has announced the signing of 7 new additions for the 2020-21 year.
In alphabetical order, the signees are Claire Feldkamp, Mallory Phares, Faith Renwick, Kennedy Rorar, Alyssa Sofinowski, Taylor Whalen, and Madison Woods.

Claire Feldkamp | 6-0 | P | Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg HS
High School: Honor Roll for three straight years....multisport athlete for four seasons in volleyball and softball.
Personal: Daughter of Mike and Laura Feldkamp...has two siblings, Paige and Wade..."I love the charm and beauty of the Tiffin campus. The coaches and players were very welcoming to me."
Mallory Phares | 5-2 | OF/2B | Elyria, Ohio/Elyria HS
High School: 4-year varsity letter for softball...won the Division 1 State Championship 2017...finished eighth in state 2018...2019 Final Four finish...starting left fielder all three years...All Lorain county Honorable mention....1-year varsity letter for volleyball...Link crew junior year...Inducted into National Honors Society junior year...also volunteers for Special Olympics
Personal: Daughter of Darrin and Tina Phares...has two siblings, Maegan and Mackenzie..."It feels like home but most importantly Tiffin has a lot to offer for what I want to study"...intends to major in Forensic Psychology at Tiffin.
Faith Renwick | 5-6 | 1B/3B/P | Erie, Pa./McDowell HS
High School: Three-time Region 7 All Star (twice First Team, once Second Team)...Tournament MVP at the Snowball Tournament Classic Showcase...four-year softball letterwinner, twice volleyball letterwinner...Defensive MVP...National Honors Society...President's Award...Honors College...Scholar Athlete and Student Ambassador.
Personal: Daughter of Carl Renwick and Max and Samantha Cooper...has a sibling, Luke...her uncle Cliff Dennett played men's basketball at Gannon University...chose Tiffin because of their Criminal Justice program and her goals of becoming a state police officer and joing the FBI..."Like the smaller campus, diverse student body, the home town feel, and the chance to play softball"....intends to major in Criminal Justice at Tiffin.

High School: Two-time Second Team All Suburban League...two-time Offensive MVP...National Honors Society...DECA President...three-time Scholar Athlete award...OHSFSCA Scholar Athlete award.
Personal: Daughter of Michael and Jennifer Rorar...has two siblings, Erin and Sean..."The campus felt like home. Tiffin offers one of the best programs for my major interest."...intends to major in Forensic Science at Tiffin.
Alyssa Sofinowski | 5-1 | 2B | Centreville,Md./Queen Anne's HS
High School: Two-time All Conference in softball...placed 8th in state in track and field in the shot put...2019 Regional champs and State Finalist in softball...four-year softball letterwinner, three years in volleyball...two-time National Honors Society.
Personal: Daughter of Bryon Sofinowski and Kimberly Hohenstein...has two siblings, Alec and Kylie...her father played football at Wesley College...looks forward to continuing her academic career and bonding with a new softball family...intends to major in Homeland Security/Terrorism at Tiffin.

Madison Woods | 5-4 | SS | Lakeville, Ohio/West Holmes HS
High School: Honorable Mention All Ohio...Three-time First Team Eastern District and OCC...three-time Daily Record First Team...Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year...three-time Honor Roll.
Personal: Daughter of Greg and Vanessa Woods...has three siblings, Carl, Kenzie, and Kali...her father wrestled at Ashland University..."I came to Tiffin because it felt like home to me. I felt comfortable right away. The coaches and team made me feel very welcome" ...is majoring in Sports Management at Tiffin.
