Tiffin University (6-5) battled but could not muster enough offense to knock off Rollins, as the host team swept a twinbill 6-3 and 3-1.

In the opener, Tiffin was hurt by a five-run second inning that knocked out starter Kimmy Reynolds. The Dragons had taken the lead in the top of the frame when Hayley Kobie walked and moved to second on a sacrifice. Ally Rock then singled to drive her home.

In the bottom of the second, a hit batter, bunt single, and walk loaded the bases. After recording two quick outs, Rollins did the damage, stroking a 2 RBI single followed by a three-run home run to jump ahead 5-1.

TU got a little closer in the fifth inning. Amanda Rock walked and was sacrificed to second. Alayna Lytle then singled home the run to make it 5-2 but the Dragons allowed an unearned run in the bottom of the inning to give Rollins a four-run cushion again.

Trailing 6-2 in the 7th inning, Amanda Rock doubled followed by Ally Rock getting hit by the pitch. Addison Mease then doubled to drive in a run and bring the tying run to the plate with runners on second and third and just one out. TU could not complete the comeback, however, as Jamie Sevenish lined out to the pitcher and Libby Crow grounded out to short.

Reynolds took the loss, lasting 1.2 innings and allowing 5 earned runs on 4 hits. Faith Bogard finished up over 4.1 innings, throwing well in allowing 5 hits and no earned runs.

Amanda Rock and Mease both doubled to lead the hitters, with Mease, Ally Rock, and Lytle getting RBIs.

In the nightcap, Tiffany Snell pitched well but the Dragons' offense was stifled throughout the game, as they did not manage a hit until the 6th inning.

With Rollins leading 2-0, Sevenish reached on an error at third, advancing to second base. Crow then broke up the no-hit bid with an RBI single that made the score 2-1, Rollins.

Brooke Lambert then walked to make it two on and just one out, but a pop to short and a ground out to the catcher ended TU's final threat of the night.

Snell took the loss, tossing 6 innings and allowing 3 earned runs with 3 strikeouts.
