Tiffin University (18-24, 3-13 GLIAC) battled Ohio Dominican on the road, falling 2-1 in 10 innings in game one before forcing extra frames with a dramatic home run in the bottom of the 7th before falling 7-5 in 8 innings.

The nightcap, which was finished with a single inning of play at TU on April 21, didn't lack for action, as both teams combined for 22 hits in the first 7 innings.

TU got things going in the first. After Jamie Sevenish and Libby Crow singled, Sierra Besser-Paul stroked a double to make it 2-0 after one inning.

Single runs in the third and fifth brought ODU even at 2-2. They then tallied three more runs with two outs in the sixth inning to jump ahead 5-2.

In the bottom of the sixth, TU got a run back. Allyson Rock singled and was exchanged for pinch runner Gabrielle Hess. Following Samantha Ringwalt's single, Hayley Kobie had a single to drive in Hess.

Trailing 5-3 in the bottom of the 7th with two outs, the Dragons rallied. Besser-Paul singled and Michelle Poe followed with a long home run to send the game into extra innings.

ODU picked up two runs in the top of the 8th on three hits and an error after Kimmy Reynolds took over on the mound for Tiffany Snell. The Dragons were unable to respond in the bottom of the inning.

Reynolds took the loss, tossing 1 inning and allowing 1 earned run on 3 hits. Snell pitched the first 7 innings, allowing 3 earned runs with 5 walks and 4 strikeouts.

Besser-Paul led TU with 2 hits including a double for 2 RBI, while Poe also had a two-run home run.

In the opener, TU once again took the early lead. Libby Crow walked in the first inning and moved to third on a Sierra Besser-Paul double. After Poe walked, Allyson Rock singled to drive in the first run of the game. A double play ended the rally, however.

In the sixth inning, ODU picked up an unearned run on an error at first base to tie the score.

Tiffin had chances over the remaining innings, putting runners on in the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th innings but failing to get them home.

The Panthers got the win in the bottom of the 10th when a single drove home their base runner from second base after being place their via international rules.

Kimmy Reynolds pitched well in taking the loss, tossing 9.1 innings and allowing 7 hits and no earned runs. She fanned 5 and walked just 2.

Jamie Sevenish had 2 hits with a double, while Poe and Rock also had 2 hits. Besser-Paul had a double.
