Tiffin's Talel Khalfi has been named USTFCCCA National Division II Athlete of the Week.

Khalfi previously this week landed his second consecutive G-MAC Athlete of the Week honor.

Khalfi won his second straight race, crossing the line in a time of 23:40.60, nearly a full minute ahead of the next finisher. The time also set a new 8K school record, breaking Nathaniel Ondracek's 2021 mark of 23:56.50.

Tiffin won over five other teams at the Tiffelberg Open.

Khalfi becomes the first TU men's cross country runner to earn National Athlete of the Week since James Ngandu earned the honor in 2016.
