Burrows finishes 4th in high jump

Cameron Burrows landed First Team All American honors in the high jump with a 4th place finish at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships hosted by Grand Valley State University.

Burrows posted a mark of 2.11 meters (6-ft., 11 inch) in his best jump of the day. It was just short of the eventual winner Ushan Perera of TAMU-Commerce, who cleared 2.14 meters.

This marks Burrows's 10th All American honor in track and field, and his 7th in the high jump. He also has 3 All American honors in the long jump.

In other action, Mason Plant competed in the preliminaries of the 110 meter hurdles, finishing 8th to qualify for the finals on Saturday, May 29. 

Plant posted a time of 14.24, trailing the prelim winner Wilson McClain of Alabama-Huntsville with 13.94.
