Cameron Burrows has been named GMAC Field Athlete of the Week.

At the Flames Invitational hosted by Lee, Burrows scaled new heights with an automatic qualifying mark in the high jump over the weekend.
 
The senior cleared 2.15m (7' 0.5") to finish first of 14 competitors. He passed last week's top field athlete Adam Bouchard of Kentucky Wesleyan, for the top season mark in high jump this spring.
 
Burrows also tied for the second-highest attempt in conference history and ranks second in Division II only behind Texas A&M Commerce's Ushan Perera.
 
Burrows has the overall conference record in high jump set at the 2019 NCAA Championships (2.17m) and five of the top 10 best performances in conference history.
