Men’s Track and Field Win Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge

The Tiffin University men's track and field team won convincingly with 225 points to grab first place in the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge. 

The Dragons fared well in the Discus as four Dragons hit top ten marks. John Casper took first place with a throw of 51.10m, followed by Benedict Draghi in second place with a throw of 49.47m, Trey Fulton finished fifth with a mark of 46.28m, and Isaiah Allen placed sixth with a throw of 45.20m.

The Dragons took the top two spots in the shot put as Isaiah Allen took first with a mark of 26.59m and Benedict Draghi got silver with a mark of 16.36m.

Jaylen Lasseter finished first in the 1500 meter race with a time of 3:57.56 and Nathaniel Ondracek placed third with a time of 4:01.07.

Dylan Hammond came fourth in the 3000 meter race with a time of 9:16.62.

Cade Carter came in fourth in the Pole vault with a vault of 4.26m and Davis Reinhard finished sixth with a mark of 3.96m.

Mason Plant had a third place finish in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.53. 

Joseph Holida placed fourth in the high jump with a jump of 1.98m, and Jacob Goudy came in sixth with a leap of 1.93m.

Jaylen Lasseter came in fourth in the 800 meter race with a time of 1:56.71, followed by Nathaniel Ondracek in fifth with a time of 1:58.90, and Ryan Jensen came in seventh with a time of 2:02.00.

Thomas Zor placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 56.49 and teammate Dean Johnson came in sixth with a time of 58.33.
