Twenty Dragons join Croy on All G-MAC track squad

Jeremy Croy was named Men's Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year, joining 20 men's student-athletes in landing All G-MAC honors this season.

Croy earned coaching honors by winning both conference championship trophies at Findlay (indoor) and Hillsdale (outdoor). The team is sending 14 men and three women out to nationals in Texas. 

Winning G-MAC championships and garnering First Team honors were Chance Abbitt (4x400), Jonte Baker (60), Cameron Burrows (high jump), Zion Cross (4x100), Elijah Gauldin (4x100), Lamar Hargrove (200, 4x400), Drew Hickman (4x400), Wavell Hinds (110 hurdles, 4x100), Brandon Lynn (4x400), and Wan'ya Williams (4x100).

Finishing runner-up and getting Second Team nods were Davis Bowers (pole vault), Nikolas Curtiss (shot put), Tristen Durr (hammer throw), Toryko Grace (discus), and Quincy Scott (100).

Landing Third Team honors were Tajarie Arthurton (triple jump), Jabari Bennett (shot put), Collin Jasin (pole vault), Errik Snell (110 hurdles), and Robert Taylor (200).

The Dragons have been racking up the postseason honors lately, with a total of 12 men's track student-athletes also landing USTFCCCA All Region honors. 

Tiffin University will once again be well represented at the NCAA Division II National Outdoor Track and Field Championships, sending 14 athletes to the event May 23-25 at Kingsville, Texas. The Dragons, who have finished third at the national outdoor meet in each of the last two seasons, will compete in 10 separate events.
