Dragons dominate field at Emory Invite

Tiffin University completed the Emory Classic hosted by Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with the men's team hitting four more provisional marks on the final day.
 
The Dragons won the overall event, easily outdistancing Ohio Northern along with 21 other teams behind strong field event performances.
 
Jabari Bennett won in the shot put by hitting a NCAA provisional qualifying mark with a big throw of 17.86 meters. Nikolas Curtiss placed second with another provisional mark for TU with 17.76m and was followed by Eric Jackson (17.47m).
 
Errik Snell also hit an NCAA provisional mark with a 14.34 time in the 110 hurdles. He was followed by Wavell Hinds with 14.63 and Nathaneal Wilson finished 3rd with 15.25.
 
Toryko Grace won the Discus with a throw of 46.23m. Jacob McPherson finished 5th in discus and Alex Fee 6th.
 
Other top finishers for TU were Jasin Collin (2nd in Pole Vault with 4.60m), Parker Wilson (4th in 5000 meters), Tyler Stuber (7th in Triple jump), Elijah Gauldin (7th in 100 meters), and Matt Ryser (7th in shot put).
