Dragons' field athletes lead the way at Pittsburg State

Tiffin University's men's track team had a number of standout performances at the Pittsburg State Invitational, hitting an automatic and nine provisional marks along the way.
 
The Dragons were led by Jabari Bennett, who hit an automatic NCAA qualifying mark with a big throw of 18.15 meters and placed second in the shot put. 
 
Eric Jackson hit a provisional mark in shot put (17.74m), placing 4th. He was followed by Nikolas Curtiss, who hit another provisional mark (17.45m).
 
Toryko Grace kept up TU's hot streak in field events, as he won with a provisional throw of 20.30m in the weight throw. While Lovell Peterson and Tristen Durr also hit provisional marks in the weight throw, finishing in 5th place (18.04m) and 6th place (17.78m), respectively.
 
Cameron Burrows took second with a provisional mark of 7.21m in the long jump while Quincy Scott finished 3rd with another provisional of 7.17m. 
 
Davis Bowers brought another provisional mark for TU in Pole Vault (5.14m), while Drew Hickman finished 4th in 400 meters with an NCAA provisional mark of 48.20.
