TU Track competes at Georgia Tech Invite

Tiffin University's track and field squad made the trip south to the Georgia Tech Invite and hit more provisional marks as they continued their strong season.

TU hit eight provisional marks overall along with another automatic qualifier for Coy Blair in the shot put, who won the event with a toss of 62-10.75. The Dragons stacked the decks once again in the shot put, as Zane Lawrence was third with 56-8.5, Ryan Donnahoe was fifth with 54-3.25, and Davion Bowers was 6th with 54-0.5. All the marks were provisional marks.

Dylan Cornwell took second in the pole vault, clearing 16-5.5, while Reginald Thomas (10.49 in the 100) and Mackenzi Rickman (14.34 in the 110 hurdles) both took fourth. Shaquille Hildreth was a fifth place finisher in the 200 in 21.3. All these marks were also provisional.

Mary Boyden had the lone women's provisional mark, taking fourth in the shot put with a toss of 47-3.

Other top finishers for TU included Cameron Burrows (3rd in high jump with 6-6.75), Jordan Lowther (6th in hammer throw with 166-6), and Eric Jackson (6th in discus with 153-4).
