Tiffin University sent split squads to numerous track and field meets this weekend, with Dragons competing at the Findlay Classic and Elite Throws Invite at Findlay and also traveling to Pennsylvania for the Penn State Nationals. TU will also compete at the Crossplex Challenge in Birmingham, Alabama on Jan. 29.

At Findlay, Tiffin's men's throwers excelled, with six NCAA Provisional marks being hit. In the shot put Elite field, TU hit 4 provisional marks, with Davion Bowers leading with a 9th place finish. He was followed by Jay Feuerstein (10th), Coy Blair (11th), and Ryan Donnahoe (13th).

Blair landed another provisional mark in the weight throw Elite category, as he took 3rd with a school-record throw of 68-5. Toryko Grace was also 3rd in the regular weight throw field, hitting another provisional mark.

Other top finishers for TU included 3rd place finishes by Zach Majeski (high jump), Robert Taylor (long jump), and Dana Tenney (triple jump).

At Penn State, James Ngandu finished 3rd in the 3000 meters, crossing the line in 8:19.45.
