Denita Hursey (2002-05) is one of the premier players for Tiffin University's nationally-ranked NAIA softball teams. In 2005 she was named American Mideast Conference Player of the Year, one of numerous honors over her career. She was also a two-time All Region and All Independent selection while also earning three All American Mideast Conference citations. She ranks fourth in career hits and helped lead Tiffin to three conference championships and four consecutive Region championship appearances. She earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and currently owns her own graphic design company. She and her family reside in Norwich, Ohio.
