Shane Sand (1989-92) is one of the most dominant linebackers in TiffinUniversity football history. He earned two All-District citations while helping the Dragons develop into a nationally recognized program in the early 1990s. He was the premier defensive standout during his career, recording a school record 444 tackles. While averaging over 111 tackles per season, Shane also set the single game record with 27 tackles and the single season record with 165 tackles in 1992. He helped lead some of Tiffin 's strongest defenses, setting five defensive team records over his career. He earned his degree in Business Administration and currently works as a retail manager for Rent-A-Center. He resides in Delaware, Ohio
