Mark Blankemeier (1977-79) left his mark as one of the best shooters in Men's Basketball history. Blankemeier, a Leipsic, Ohio native, earned NAIA All-American honors his senior season, finishing with 1170 points in his two-year career. He still holds the single season record for field goals (294) and is second in points in a season (676). He is a two-time All-District 22 and All-Mid-Ohio Conference performer who still ranks in the top 10 in 10 offensive categories. He earned his degree in Business and a Master's degree in Management from Aquinas College. He and his family currently reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he is employed as a Manager of Industrial Engineering for Lear Corporation.
