John Hosang (1968-70) played men's basketball for Tiffin University when it was first making an appearance on the national stage. Hosang led the team to two Lake Erie College Championships and a Third Place National Tournament finish during his court career. Hosang averaged 25 points per game and an amazing 20.6 rebounds per game while totaling 1079 points. He still holds single season records for rebounds in a season (391) and rebounding average (17). Hosang also earned two All-American citations during his career along with two All-Conference selections. Hosang currently works for the State of Ohio on the Ohio Turnpike. John, his wife Eileen, and two children reside in Attica, Ohio
