Jim Huss

Jim Huss, a Tiffin native, was a standout player who helped lead Tiffin University to its first men's basketball Mid-Ohio Conference title. During his career from 1974-78, Huss exemplified the ultimate team player, excelling at every area both on the court and in the classroom. Huss earned two Academic All-American citations en route to a 3.96 GPA for his career. He also earned two All-District 22 and All-Mid-Ohio Conference honors while leading the Dragons. He is presently 10th in career scoring with 1273 points and is in the top five in free throws (287) and top ten in field goals (493). After graduating with degrees in Higher Accounting and Marketing, he went on to work 10 years for Marathon Oil. He currently works at Florida Progress. He, his wife Michelle, and three children reside in Palm Harbor, Florida.
