Day two of the 2023 Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover saw the Dragons (11-10, 5-5 G-MAC) suffer a 3-0 defeat to Parkside on Saturday.

Late in the first set, a kill by Wakaya Wilson handed Tiffin a one-point advantage at 22-21. Later tied at 23, back-to-back points from Parkside earned it the 1-0 lead to end a competitive first set.

Trailing 5-3 in set number two, the Dragons caught fire as they went on a 10-1 run to take a 13-6 lead. The run was led by Taylor Peterson who tallied three kills. The Rangers responded with a big run of their own and later tied it at 22. Parkside once again rattled off three-straight to end the set, taking a commanding 2-0 lead.

Yet another good start was spoiled by Parkside as the Dragons took a 13-11 lead after back-to-back kills from Alivia Rew but a 7-0 run quickly flipped the script.

Kenedi Goon led the team with 10 kills followed by Peterson with eight. Addison Conti and Clare Kwiatkowski recorded 19 and 11 assists respectively. Olivia Karhoff once again led the team in digs with 14 while Goon and Rew both tallied three total blocks.

The Dragons return to G-MAC action when they host rival Findlay next Saturday, October 21st for a homecoming matchup.
